My thesis research involved a cross-over study using the 3 primary disciplines of the Petroleum Sciences consisting of Reservoir Engineering, Subsurface Wellbore Geology and 3D Seismic Geophysical interpretations of a compartmentalized oil reservoir. I should receive my MS Graduate Degree from UT Austin this summer of 2014. (CONT'D BELOW)

I have been accepted to the PHd Doctoral Graduate studies Geoscience Program for Fall 2014, at the University of Florida, Gainsville, Dissertation topic will be in the geological field of Plate Tectonics.

My Second Career will be in Academia teaching and researching Engineering and the Geosciences at the University level.

Retired Strand Energy 2008, currently managing our private investments (Sunflower Oil Co. and Kanati, LLC) mostly in Oil & Gas drilling projects and real estate (commercial apartment buildings).

I am Executive Producer to musical artist Anne McCue <www.annemccue.com>, 4 CD's (albums: Roll, Koala Motel, Anne McCue Unplugged, Broken Promised Land with the hit song "Don't Go Down to Texas Without Me")and a fifth, grammy winning, styled CD album 2014,

I also manage an Executive Production investment company, Wildcat Entertainment Group, LLC that finances musical artist and invests in feature films (the movies).

I am a voting Member of the Academy of Recording Sciences, "the Grammy Awards".

Mei Lien and I are moving to Jacksonville FL summer of 2014 for my 2 years of PHd work at the University of Florida and Mei Lien has taken a position as CEO of a Jacksonville area hospital.

Following our Jacksonville FL adventure we will move to Barilouche Argentina for 9 months of each year and 3 months at the Brock Family cabin in Taylor Park Colorado (the most beautiful and funnest place in the World for me).

I am also currently an Oil & Gas investments Technical and Business Advisor consulting to High Net Worth, High Net Income private individual investors and privately held companies that are not knowledgeable or connected to the tightly held Oil & Gas business community. Turns out that everyone with a net worth of $5 million or more desires an Oil & Gas portion to their investment portfolios. The good Oil & Gas investment drilling and production deals never hit the streets so with my many industry connections and resources developed over the 30 Years of my Oil & Gas technical and personal investments career I can help these wealthy people develop such an investment portfolio. I am not a Broker.

Travel, Participate in the music and movie entertainment business. Visit Friends, Attend live music shows and festivals around the world, Snow Ski, Scuba Dive, Ride Trains, Go to the beach, I cook a lot for my wife, friends and extended family. We travel this spring 2014 returning to Switzerland for the upteenth time and to explore the Cote d Azur, Meditteranian coast line of eastern France and western Italy.

I have lots of wildly fun stories of encounters with the pretty Brazoswood Girls and other Brazoria County girls; however, those tall tales of excitement will go untold to the grave with me!

Coming soon will be pics from a trip to central, colonial Mexico in August of 2008; four fun couples who rented a villa together on the Gold Coast of Spain; A big trip some yeas past to the Far East which included Christmas in Singapore, an overnight train trip up the Malay Peninsula aboard the luxuries "Eastern Oriental Express", on the way to Bangkok Thailand, New Years Eve above the river in Bangkok, exploring the islands of Phuckett and the city of Chaing Ma Thailand in the mountains north of Bangkok (12/08- 01/09).

More trips to Switzerland riding trains with a EurRail Pass and Northern Italy and Eastern France. Winter ski trips to Sun Valley Idaho with the Movie Stars and skiing at Robert Redford's Sundance area of Utah. Several summer trips to the Colorado Rocky Mountains.
