I saw David not long before he died. I remember he was driving a big ol' Olds 88. Taking his own life was so unexpected, I wish I could have talked to him, but I did not see it coming AT ALL.
You were a friend to all and your impish grin always made my day! Gosh, you surprised us all! I'm not sure you knew how loved you were. You are never far away in my memory. How much more fun would a reunion be with you there!!! :). Guess I'll take you to this one in my mind! Come along my friend! Miss u
David and I were best friends and I know he is still with me!! I should have seen it comming I saw him the day he left to Huntsville we were having a party at the River house and he came by and told me he wasn't going to make it. We were both just starting out in banking and I kept up with him every day. He came by and said he had to and go and visit his girl, and was really tore up about it. He gave me a hundred dollar bill for him not being able to make it. I tried several times to give it back and he said "I really want to make it, but I just cant yall have a good time" The next day he was gone. I have so many memories and stories we shared.
