In Memory

Greg Anderson

Greg Anderson, born May 31, 1961, passed from this world into Everlasting Life on Thursday, May 7, 2020. He sort of snuck out quickly, as he was very sly, always up to something.  Greg made us laugh, but we had to watch out for his pranks, like putting ketchup in his Aunt Rita’s lotion bottle. He loved creating his comics and making music, spending time with family, and worshiping His Lord Jesus Christ. If you knew Greg, you loved him and knew you were also loved.

Greg’s faith was strong, and God packed his heart with love.  Greg will be missed by his mother, Maxine Anderson of Glen Rose; his brother, Brad Anderson; sister Kim Funkhouser; brother Lane Anderson and sister-in-law Julie Anderson; his best friend, Charlotte Cooke; and a bunch of aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and great-nephews. Greg goes to join a host of loved ones including his Dad, Homer Anderson; we expect he will mess up Dad’s hair!

Thank you, Father, for the gift of Greg!

Visitation will be Sunday, May 10, at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose from noon until 5 p.m. The family will welcome visitors from 1-2 p.m.  Burial will be Monday, May 11, at Senterfitt Cemetery in Lometa, Texas, at 1 p.m.
