I remember going to his apartment and him playing Van Halen 2 for me and Perry Edgar,he is the one who turned me on to Van Halen , probably about 1982. I miss Dale and was sad to hear about him missing, and later learning of his death. Dale we all miss you !
I really didn't know Dale in school, but I had the opportunity to work with him back in the early '80's. He was such a fun guy, he had a great sense of humor. He will truly be missed.
I probably new Dale better than anyone. The Hulsopple's was my second home from before kindergarten. We were best friends but I didn't see as much of him after I got married. Dale was a happy go luck person that was just fun to be around. I miss him alot still.
I thought a lot of Dale. He was a great guy and super sweet. The funniest thing I remember was when Polly Vick, Debbie Hanak, Sheila Gorden, and I picked him up one day at lunch and tossed him in the girls restroom. Shotgun Slade walked by while he was trapped in there so he couldn't get out for a little bit. But when he did he got Joe Green and some other guys to grab us and tried to toss us in the boys restroom. We had a lot of fun with him. The last time I saw him was when I came home for a while after I was married and had my son. He was doing Noah with the Little Theatre. A few months later My mom told me he was missing. Then I found out he was gone, I was so upset he was a great friend to have. I still miss him sometimes and think of him often. Rest in peace Dale I'll see you later.

I remember Dale to this day making me laugh at lunch. He would when we had pudding turn it upside down to see if it would fall out.Jackie Groves
