Me and Jeff and Steve Jackson and Mike Carter (if anyone remembers him, he moved when we were in 9th grade) were best buddies starting at LJI and continuing on at B'wood. I was supposed to go out with Jeff and Steve that night but my Mom would not let me. She didn't even give me a specific reason, she just said, "You need to stay home tonite." We never talked about that, ever, even tho she may have saved my life right there.
