What did you do right after high school?
Attended BC and shortly thereafter married Cory Epps in February 1982 and moved to El Paso, Texas where he was stationed in the Air Force for 4 years. Cory had the opportunity to travel to Korea, Germany and many other locations while he was in the service.
Cory later attended the University of Texas at El Paso where he majored in Commercial Banking. He was employed with the State National Bank for a couple of years as a Commercial Loan Officer. Cory later moved to Las Vegas where he began working in the automotive financing market.
I started working for the Embassy Suites Hotel in El Paso as the Assistant General Manager for 16 years and later had the opportunity to transfer to the Embassy Suites Hotel in Houston from 1996-2008. This opportunity allowed me the ability to help care for my ailing parents whom I miss dearly.

What did you always want to do that you haven’t done yet?
I finally received my Associate of Arts degree in 2007 - an ultimate goal of mine. However, I want to continue with my studies in Education or Social Services (two more years to go).
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Volunteer with the Brazoria County Juvenile Detention Center, Angleton, Texas. Spending time with family/friends. Reading, go to the movies, scrapbooking/Stampin Up and arts & crafts.
What is your favorite book?
I enjoy reading all Danielle Steele, Nicholas Sparks & Debbie MacComber books.
What is your favorite movie?
I love the Hallmark movies.
Do you have any good stories about classmates?
I enjoyed working in the Journalism department, Spanish Club with Mr. Torres and Mrs. Miller.

As you already know, Cory passed away on February 27, 2009 and that date will remain with me and my son forever. Cory - I want you to know that I fell in love with you, your amazing smile and your red hair. Josh and I, as well as your immediate family are truly having a hard time accepting our loss. Please know that you are always in our thoughts.
