I believe Pam went by the last name Grogan when she died. She went to school with us in earlier years, but moved to West Columbia, where she graduated.
This is Pam Mican Grogan, she didn't graduate with us @ BWood. Her family moved to West Columbia, so she graduated from there. She had an older brother, Dennis Mican, that some of you will remember. Pam was one of my best friends, and sadly to say over the years, even though she still lived in WC, we lost touch. But, one day she called my office at work to speak to my boss and I recognized her voice. I called her back and talked to her for a bit, and it was so awesome, even though we hadn't seen each other we were able to "pick up where we left off". Pam grew up on the corner of Redwood and Hawthorne in LJ, across the street from Russell Campbell. I think she moved after 9th grade and she drove a pale yellow 2 door Impala or something like that. She was always happy, funny and always laughing! She ran around with me, Carolyn Sharp, Debby Livingston and many others. She married and had 1 son, Michael Grogan, Jr., but her husband, Michael, had passed away several years before. She had a massive heart attack at her home and died. Pam was a wonderful person.
I remember Pam and Carolyn Sharp. I lived on redwood and used to hang with the two of them in early elementary and middle school. Pam was a fun girl to be with. I was sorry to hear that she had died suddenly of a heart attack.We had some great time on Redwood just hanging out at each others house. She was agreat friend to have.
