What are your memories of high school?

Playing in the Swinging Buccaneer Band, Marching at the Football games, Hopper Field, our Kazoo band, all those trips on the "yellow limo", playing Basketball and Track. Summers at the beach and playing softball in Lake Jackson, Who can forget our great strip? Circle the sonic cross over to the Dairy Bar then drag down Plantation Drive to Weingartens parking lot, then Kroger... do it all over again!!! Dances at the fairgrounds. Who will own up to "wrapping the school?"

Did you ever skip school?

Too many times to count. I knew how to forge my parents signature!

Did you have a nickname in high school?

some knew me as Rucking (thanks to the Estes sisters)

Did you have any nicknames after high school?

yes, in college they called me Bruiser!

What did you do right after high school?

Attended Stephen F. Austin Sate University on a softball scholarship

Where else have you lived?

Ohio, Coached at The Ohio State University (they can have that cold weather)
Nacogdoches, Richmond, Spring, Magnolia, Conroe

What did you always want to do that you haven’t done yet?

Obtain my Phd---(getting there)

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Who has spare time???
We are very active doing a variety of things from Barrel Racing to snow skiing, we love to travel and do most anything especially if it involves water or being outdoors!!!
My children have been very active in FFA, showing goats, and playing baseball.
I am very active with the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo. I currently serve as the RUBB Coordinator on the Wine Events Committee, and also a member of the Wine Competition Committee.

Patricia Cornwell- Dr. Kay Scarpetta series

Biggest thing you would do differently if you went back to your time at BHS?

Not sure I would do anything different.

Do you have any good stories about classmates?

Oh, yea, but they are not suitable to print HERE!!! And just to let yall know..."Old timers has not kicked in yet...I've still got a pretty vivid memory...I think!!!)

This space is definitely not large enough to enlighten anyone over MY last 45 years...Lets just say I have had a very exciting, fun filled, adventure and have really broadened my horizons in many directions. I have had the opportunity to explore, experience and enjoy much of what life has to offer!!! AND the good lord willing...I'M NOT DONE YET!!!
It's all about my kids now...watching them soak up like a sponge what the world has to offer!!!
